As a Filipina born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, I carry my love for my culture and heritage with me everywhere I go. My writing is purposeful—it’s honest, authentic, and rooted in equity and justice. Now living in the American South, people often ask why I left paradise. My answer: life is full circle. I am driven by curiosity, by the constant search for diverse perspectives, and by a refusal to stay silent in the face of injustice. For me, writing is more than expression or fact—it is gratitude, solidarity, and a pursuit of fairness.

I understand what it means to be both an outsider and an insider, and I am comfortable navigating that space. I bring raw and unique perspectives to every piece I write, whether for magazines and newspapers, established businesses, or emerging brands. My work reflects my commitment to storytelling that informs, inspires, and uplifts.
